Let’s just start off my taking a few seconds to appreciate how utterly B-E-A-UTIFUL the My Bag X CSC Mini Poppy Bag Actually is! Okay, let’s get into it now that we’ve established how incredible it is. If you don’t follow me on social media, you’re probably not too sure what I’m going on about, so let me explain. Recently, I was invited to a very special event held by Mybag.com for the launch of their amazing collaboration with The Cambridge Satchel Company. As you can imagine, I was so honoured to be one of the first people to own one of their bags, as well as one of the first people to actually see it! It’s a world exclusive, which is insane to think!
I thought to celebrate the launch of such a special collaboration, it was only right for me to put my own spin on the bag and style it up for a very spring inspired OOTD. If you know me, you know that styling pink or anything really girly is quite a challenge. However, when I laid eyes on this beautiful bag, I knew that it would fit in with my wardrobe and personal style perfectly! So, here’s how I styled the My Bag x CSC world exclusive collaboration!
Pink is by far THE colour of the season, however, with being icy pale and having pink undertones to my skin, I find that the majority of pink shades don’t actually suit me! Although the new CSC Poppy bag may fall into the pink colour spectrum, it’s special, because it’s actually Terracotta. Which means I’ve actually found a shade of pink that doesn’t clash with my skin tone and wash me out (Hooray!)
There’s always been something about the colour pink that I’ve always been somewhat scared of. I think when growing up as a complete tomboy, I didn’t want to be associated with pink or any gender stereotypes that came along with it. I just wanted to play Pokemon. It’s actually quite hard to believe that I grew up wanting to dress like a boy and play video games, in comparison to who I am today, there’s nothing I love more than wearing skirts and having my room filled with flowers. I’ve just been loving the pink trend and the ruffle trend at the minute, as you can probably tell by this outfit!

SWITCHING UP YOUR WARDROBE IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA!
The thing I get most frustrated by as we come into the Spring and Summer is that I just don’t know how to dress. I’m a lover of the Autumn and Winter. There’s nothing I love more than chucking on a faux fur coat and a hat. Although the UK doesn’t get the best weather, It’s definitely not appropriate. At this time of year, I find myself in a massive style rut, it’s like I lose my sense of identity within the spring floral dresses and the sandals. This year, although I feel like I’m struggling to re-vamp my wardrobe for the warmer months, I’ve actually enjoyed a bit of a wardrobe switch-up and now that I own a bag that screams Spring and Summer, I think getting myself into the spirit of the new seasons will be a-lot easier.
