Band Tee’s are definitely the new ‘thing’ although I find trends somewhat a hassle, especially when the trend doesn’t fit in with my style which basically results in there being no clothes on the hughstreet that I like, however band tee’s are everywhere now, which means all of the band tee’s that I’ve been collecting over the past 6-8 years are finally coming out to play again and this time, they’re deemed trendy!
I will confess it, I have way too many band tee’s! Over the past few years the decent ones have been kept in my wardrobe and the grubby over worn ones have been demoted to PJ’s (currently wearing an Arctic Monkeys tee from 2012, back when I was officially cool) I just find them so easy to style, jeans, skirts, dungarees, you name it, they’re just so versatile! I thought I’d share one of my favourite ways to style band tee’s with a bit of a 90’s grunge twist because well, why not?
TOP : VINTAGE, JEANS : TOPSHOP (OLD), JACKET : ZARA, SHOES : TOPSHOP, SOCKS : ASOS, CHOCKER : ASOS
I’ve quite literally been obsessed with denim lately, I’ve purchased a ridiculously stupid amount of denim over the past 6-8 months, I’ve never been a jeans kind of girl however now, that’s pretty much all I wear! I love the vintage wash of these jeans, especially paired with a band tee – It’s comfy, casual however you still look somewhat stylish, which is basically the look I go for most days.
The burgundy leather jacket is my new obsession, I had been crushing over it for so long on the Zara website, however I decided to go for it a good few weeks back after trying it on in the store I had fallen in love. It gives off slightly Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ vibes however I love it none the less and I think it adds a modern twist to a vintage inspired outfit!
