Another month, another delightful treat from Cohorted Beauty! There’s nothing I find more exciting than having this beautiful package sent to me, it’s so lovely to have a little surprise to look forward to each month, especially if you’re having a particularly rough month, knowing that an surprise box of luxury goodies is on its way is enough to perk up anyones month!

This months box is SO exciting! When you open your box and see a Nars x Andy Warhol palette, you know that you’re in for a treat! This month also featured a SUPER special item, which I feel so happy to have had the opportunity to try out, as it’s a new beauty craze that I’ve been stupidly desperate to try out! So, let’s see what’s inside this months box, as I’m sure the suspense is killing you!

From Nars to Lancome, this months box contains treats to tantalise any beauty lovers cosmetic cravings!

Nars x Andy Warhol | Flowers 3 Eyeshadow Palette

This little palette was like love at first sight! As soon as you see that NARS packaging, you just get that uncontrollable feeling of excitement, just me or? Imagine the excitement when you see a NARS x Andy Warhol product staring at you, yeah I squealed out loud! This palette is simply divine! The colours are all shimmery and simply beautiful!

This palette is a pleasure to use, the shades are really easy to blend! They’re not super pigmented, however I think this does work considering that these shades are shimmery. They’re very subtle yet just as beautiful as they look in the palette! They’re really easy and wearable colours to go for if you’re wanting to finish off an eye look with a hint of shimmer! Simply beautiful and a perfect little addition to anyones makeup stash!

Smith & Cult Nail Polish | Regret The Moon

My first impression of the Smith & Cult nail varnish was “WOW how beautiful is this packaging!” It feels truly luxurious, as much as I hate to admit it, this nail varnish is just so instagramable, it just had to be said! The colour is white however it has a very subtle hint of pink within it, which is a colour the I’ve never used before, so inevitably I was super excited to give it a try!

I think with any pale coloured nail polish, it takes a good few layers to achieve the colour desired. This shade only took be about 2 coats, which I personally find impressive, especially considering how  pale this colour is! Despite the top of the bottle being quite hefty, it’s actually really comfortable to hold, so it somewhat aids your application and you feel as though you have a lot of control, which is great if you’re like me and a complete cluts when it comes to applying nail polish!

Nunzio Saviano | Anti Frizz Sheets

I never even knew that anything like this existed! My hair doesn’t usually get frizzy as it’s super pin straight! However if I don’t condition my hair, it becomes super static! The packaging is super handy, as each sheet comes individually wrapped, meaning that if you’re prone to frizzy hair, you can pop a few into your hand bag and sort out those frizzy stray hairs on the go!

Even though I don’t particularly have frizzy hair, when I do curl my hair, the ends can occasionally look a bit out of control, so I thought I’d see if these anti frizz sheets would help with that and they did! You silly just smooth the sheet onto your hair, and it leaves your hair looking super healthy and shiny and I found that my hair was less static and out of control thorough the day which is brilliant!

Lancome | Absolue Yeux Repairing Cream

£25 (2 x 3ml samples included)

I’ve previously sampled some of the Lamcome eye creams before and I have loved them a lot! They really helped add moisture to my under eyes! However I’ve never actually tried a Lamcome face cream, so when I saw these little beauties in the box, I had big hopes for them!

The cream is a very nice consistency, it’s not too runny which I really hate when it comes to face cream and moisturisers, as I find the more runnier their consistency, the harder it is the rub the product into your skin! I didn’t notice any dramatic changes to my skin after using the product for a few days, my skin did feel somewhat plumper, however I think I will to try the product out for a bit longer to notice any dramatic changes to the appearance of my skin!

Cohorted Ovali Collection | Powder Brush

This was the product that I was most excited about! I was literally jumping for joy when I saw it inside the box! If you follow me on snapchat (Abigail-Sophia) you will know how utterly excited I was, as I decided to do a live unboxing! I’ve been wanting to try the Artis brushes for SO long, however they’re always out of stock and ridiculously expensive! So I’m so happy Cohorted have took it upon themselves in creating an affordable oval brush collection!

At first, I found it hard to distinguish weather I had the powder brush or the foundation brush, however after flicking through the provided manual, I realised that I had the powder brush! I’ve been using this over the past week and I must say I love it! I simply apply the powder straight onto the brush and pat it onto my face and then smooth it all over with very light strokes. I find that my powder looks a lot more flawless and seems to stay put a lot longer, having oily skin it can really be an issue as I find my makeup never lasts as long as I’d like it to! I may have just ordered the foundation base brush too, as I really want to see how these brushes apply liquid products! So I will let you guys know how that one comes along!

Once again, Cohorted have done it! They’ve provided me with a luxury box full of goodies that I literally cannot fault! Considering the boxes actual price of £35 and the fact that it’s worth £118, it’s amazing how much money you can actually save over the month! If you’re a beauty addict and you can’t quite cope with not getting your monthly beauty fix, however you want to save some money, than I couldn’t recommend Courted enough! You save money and you’re left with some utterly amazing luxury products!

See you on Wednesday!

Now this is what I call bargain! Even though you pay more than most of the subscription boxes, you get more with what you pay instead of just getting 1 or 2 sample size products.Ela BellaWorld

I l o v e cohorted beauty boxes! I used to be subscribed but then I un-subscribed and I have no idea why! This box looks so luxurious and I totally get what you mean about getting excited about seeing a Nars product – I'm the same! The nail polish looks like a lovely colour and I've seen these artis brushes and other brushes very similar but I've never thought to try them, so I may have to look into purchasing some – much cheaper – ones! Great post 🙂 xoChar |
