Bank Holiday weekends will forever be best spent with some loved ones in the sunshine, luckily last weekend I had all of this! I attended Liverpool’s Sound City weekend festival with my Boyfriend and some of his family and inevitably I took a few photos that I thought I would share as Liverpool is utterly beautiful when the sun is shining and with the festival being located on the Bramley-Moore docks, it was even more glorious!
Sound City has a wide variety of asks from some amazing Liverpool born bands such asThe Coral and Circa Waves, to bands such as Catfish and The Battlement and Band of Skulls! So it was more than pleasurable to listen to some of my favourite bands in the sunshine, practically prepping me for the Glastonbury lifestyle that I will be partaking in at the end of this month!
The atmosphere of the entire festival was really friendly, which is always something that I take advantage of being in Liverpool, as everyone is generally really nice to each other, but at festivals and events within the city, it’s almost as though everyone comes together to appreciate the bustling and lively city that we’re so privilege to live in!
The Festival was littered with so many food stalls from my favourite independent restaurants within Liverpool, from Maray to American Pizza Slice, I was pretty much scoffing my face with humous fries and pizza at every given moment!
See what else I got up to at Sound City over on mu YouTube channel!
I hope you enjoyed this little photo diary and that it put you in the mood for any up and coming festivals that you’re attending this Summer!
See you on Wednesday!
