There’s nothing I love more than a little juxtaposition when it comes to styling outfits! As you probably know, I’m a massive fan of mixing the feminine with the masculine, as being petite and having a baby face, I like to still look like a female, however adding a little touch of masculinity in order to make the outfit more ‘grown up’. However this time I’ve mashed up the vintage folk style with the grunge and bad-ass.
I’m literally obsessed with this dress and when I tried it on I truly fell in love with it, I completely adore how floaty it is, perfect for warmer days or if you’re going on holiday this Summer, I’m not usually a fan of florals, however I think the muted vintage inspired colours used in the dress make it more on the folklore side of things – Very vintage looking indeed!
Fish nets are a great way to add that ‘grunge’ appeal to an outfit and I think they work really well with the dress, they don’t look to over the top and I just generally really like how they look, as I’m not a massive lover of getting my legs out as I just become more self conscious as I’m so horrifically pale, there’s definitely a possibility that I could blind someone with my legs because they’re pretty much bright white!
Every girls best friend is her leather jacket, right? I sort of went out of love with my leather jackets for a long time and converted to a lover of suede ones, however this outfit has brought back my love for leather and I’ve been wearing my leather jacket pretty much with every outfit! They just add a super edgy, laid back finish to every outfit and you look like you’re not trying too hard, even though you’ve spent way longer than you should’ve trying to achieve an ‘effortless’ look
