Suede seems to be the new leather this season and you’ve got to love a little hassle am I right? Spring here in the UK isn’t really the season that you can get your legs out and flaunt what your momma gave you, however there’s a few wardrobe switch ups I’ve made in order to refresh my wardrobe for the Spring time – one of them being adding a bit of colour and a bit of suede into my everyday looks!
As you may now I’m a massive lover over decade dressing, I’m all about channeling the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s basically all of the decades! I love the 70’s trend and I’m happy that it’s here to stay throughout the Spring and Summer! It’s all about the flares, patterned shirts and of course the hassle jackets! That whole 70’s woodstock romance trend is slowly overtaking my wardrobe!
This tassel jacket is literally my new obsession, it’s so soft and lightweight however it still adds a bit of warmth on those colder Spring days! Thinking back now, I don’t think I’ve ever had jackets that are suitable for the Spring time, however this jacket is pretty much perfect. The tassels aren’t too over the top, so you haven’t got the hassle of them getting jammed in things to just looking a mess – It’s about priorities guys, if you’re tassels are a mess then so is your life…
Obviously we’re talking 70’s here, so I paired it with this silk paisley button up shirt, I love the muted blues and greens within this shirt, I have a primarily monochrome wardrobe so adding fun pieces like this really help to spice it up a little! This shirt is surprisingly versatile, I’ve paired it with high waisted skirts and added a western belt, I’ve paired it with pinafore dresses and dungarees, the possibilities are endless!
