It’s been absolutely hideously freezing here in the UK recently, however we’ve been having that unusual bright, sunny winter days, that look really warm and beautiful, however in reality you’re freezing your tits off and you want to cry a little bit because the wind is messing with your sensitive eyes – It’s a hard life trying to dress warm, yet somewhat stylish in these conditions, am I right ladies?
I thought I would share this simply yet warm and adaptable outfit with you guys so you can get some cold weather inspo to get you through the harsh, yet final stretch of the winter! We can do it!
This outfit is super simple and you can pretty much grab some existing and staple pieces from your wardrobe and you’re ready to go! I’ve worn my black and white striped turtle neck top from Brandy Melville, I love this as it sits super close to the body and it’s such a soft and breathable fabric, so paired with this Topshop shearing jacket, you won’t have any issues with being too hot if you maybe go inside at any point, that’s right, I’m thinking about all the situations – You can thank me later!
I then paired this with these high waisted cord trousers from ASOS – These are total 70;s vibes, I bought these and my auntie said she owned a pair so similar in the 70’s, so paired with the camel shearing coat, you get those really casual 70’s vibes – which has been a massive trend throughout the Winter! Lastly I wore my trusty Topshop Bardot pointed ankle boots, these boots are my Winter saviour! I wear these all the time, they’re comfortable, they keep my feet dry and most importantly I can wear socks with them so my feet stay nice and warm, it’s really the little things, isn’t it?
