For Christmas I was gifted this beautiful oxblood faux croc print bag from Kurt Geiger’s ‘Carvella’ range as a Christmas gift from my parents! They know me so well as this bag is everything I want and more, it has that really timeless 60’s mod box style bag, however with a modern twist. I’ve never actually done a ‘What’s in my bag’ before, mostly because I’m the type of person who constantly changes their bag, depending on the occasion or the outfit that I’m wearing

For once in my life, my bag is yet to have collected numerous amounts of lose change and receipts and chewing gum wrappers, the best is yet to come I suppose! I feel that now that I’m 20 I should arrange my bag and make is super efficient for daily use. However I’ve still somehow collected things that I couldn’t really tell you a reason for them being in my bag.. My bad!

My phone is obviously the biggest essential to my bag, wherever I go, my phone is most likely to be with me. I usually carry around a portable charger with me, however I’ve not yet put it into this bag, as I mostly use my portable charger when I’m at University! I’d honestly be lost without my phone, which sounds really sad to say, however I use it for everything; to check the time, to check the days I’m in work, to get any information for University from the Blackboard App, I use it for my personal and my blog email and of course I use it to get in contact with people – However all of this obviously really runs down my battery so I think I’m going to put my portable charger into this bag ASAP!

My card holder is another major essential, I used this for any train tickets, bus tickets, bus pass, my rail card – The whole lot! I think it’s so handy to have all of these travel credentials all in one handy little pouch! I use these so much I literally fly through them so fast. My current one is about a year old and is from Cath Kinston, I love it because it’s covered in a load of retro clocks, which I thought was really fun – I’m not into all of the Cath Kinston floral designs, however I think this is a nice mature pattern, however it’s still a bit fun and noticeable, so if I was to drop it or be rooting for it in my bag, it easily stands out!

This purse was gifted to me after I did my interview with Zandra Rhodes (which you can read here) I feel like this is such a classic and grown up purse! The purse I had before this was a Forelli one that I got for Christmas a few years back, however it was just SO small If I had any change I literally couldn’t close it as it couldn’t hold much at all! That’s what I love about this purse, it’s so big and you can just fit every possible card, discount card, receipt or membership card in it, as well as any money or change you may have! It’s a really beautiful grained faux leather so it’s going to last me a very long time!

Now, onto something that Is probably the most interesting for my readers, the beauty pouch! I’m not the type of person that tends to carry around a lot of makeup with them, as I don’t really top my makeup up throughout the day, I just roll with it really. However there’s a few things that I have to have. Of course it wouldn’t be right for me to not have some sort of lip balm in there, I’ve got a Nivea tin lip balm and a Shea Butter one from the Body Shop which smells amazing! I also have the matching hand cream from the Body Shop, which really helps keep my hands moisturised, especially working as a waitress my hands can get really dry and irritated due to washing them so much, so this just helps them to not fall off basically!

I then have a little Jo Malone perfume in the English Pear scent, which is one of my favourite Jo Malone scents, I actually got this sample free with the Peony & Blush Suede scent that I recently purchases, as they’re meant to compliment each other really well, however I saw it as a perfect opportunity to have a perfect pocket sized fragrance for on the go! Lastly, I have two items that I’m not too sure why they’re in there, one is a rose gold ring from Topshop, I literally have no idea why this is in there, and then I have the Invisable Perfection Shield from Murad, which is basically a makeup primer smilier to the Body Shops Instablur or Benefits Porefessional – I’m guessing this is in there from when I stayed in my boyfriends house over christmas as I must have forgot to pop it into my makeup bag!

I hope you enjoyed todays little blog post – Although it’s not anything groundbreaking, it’s something I’ve not done before so I thought why not?

See you on Sunday,
