Can you believe another year has gone by? Happy New Year to all of you, I hope 2016 is a year filled with achievement, happiness and love! You’ve probably noticed that I haven’t done my monthly favourites for December, as it’s a bit of a ritual here on Blush & Noise, however I’ve decided to share with you my favourite and most used makeup products throughout 2015! I have tried to knuckle the products down to the ones that I have high recommend to people and used to death throughout the year. I have purposely avoided talking about skin care in this post, as if I was to share my skin care favourites it would just be too much and I don’t want to fill your minds with more beauty ramble – So we’ll save that post for another day, a skin care favourites maybe? – Okay, now I’m rambling..

This year I’ve definitely discovered some amazing products that I have repurchased numerous amount of times. That’s how you know if I really love a product, I will always go back to it, even if I find something else that works, I will always stick to what I know and love! Finding a handful of products that you know you can rely on is a key aspect to any makeup  stash, whether you’re a makeup fanatic or not, I love knowing what people are loving as it helps me to gain a bit of knowledge about a product before I take the leap and purchase it

I’ve had this blusher for sometime now and I’ve worn it pretty much everyday throughout 2015. I’m not a massive fan of bright blushes, as I have fair skin with a pink undertone, so I don’t necessarily want to add more pink to my skin. I think overdoing it blush when you naturally have pink-toned skin can be a big mistake, it’s just not flattering! This blush is a really beautiful mauve pink, it’s like the ‘Kylie Jenner Lip’ but in a blush form – That really soft looking pink with brown undertones. This blush has a shimmer to it, which initially I was unsure of, as I personally opt for matte blushers, however it adds such a natural and healthy glow to your cheeks, I just can’t help but love it! I’ve recommended this blusher to so many people as I simply adore it!

This is a product that I’ve basically ranted and raved about ever since I got it early last year. I freaking love this lipstick. It’s just everything I’ve ever wanted in a lipstick, I honestly feel like I’m repeating myself as I’ve spoken about this lipstick a thousand and one times – It’s just perfect. I’m not a fan of completely nude lipsticks, due to my fair complexion, it just doesn’t work, however nor am I a fan of bright pink lipsticks. This is the perfect in-between for me, just for the days where you want a little something on your lips but don’t want to go overboard, It’s just that really subtle, yet pretty pink with brown undertones. I cannot recommend this enough!

This is a product that I discovered a few months ago, after wanting to try it for so long, I thought I would take the leap of faith or treat myself to it, especially after hearing some really good reviews about it on other blogs and YouTube! I love the colour of the bronzer, it’s just the perfect shade for pale skin, it provides a really natural contour shade for everyday, however you can layer it up to make a bit more stand-out if you where going on a night out or what not! It has that really nice smooth, velvety texture that I crave when it comes to bronzers – and any face powders for that matter – I think when a bronzer is chalky and a little bit too powdery, it just doesn’t look as good on the skin! It’s everything you need and more – Plus it smells absolutely incredible!

I actually did a full review of this foundation about a year ago – However since then I’ve purchased 3 of these foundations as once one starts running low, I buy another as a back-up! These foundations are notoriously hard to get a hold of here in the UK. Stockists such as QVC are practically sold out all the time, so I turn to Sephora international delivery – When they open a Sephora in the UK all my make-up related issues will be resolved! This foundation is almost like whipped cream in it’s texture, it’s quite thick, however it’s smooth and velvety and covers practically any blemish – No redness or dark circles are a challenge for this foundation. I wear this mostly on days where I need my foundation to remain flawless and intact throughout the day!

I wear this cream eyeshadow hands down everyday – It’s incredible! I think when you have fair skin, it can be quite transparent at times and veins can show through, especially on the eyelids. I use this to get rid of any of that and act has a primer for any of my eyeshadows – Although it’s a mate cream eyeshadow and you’s expect it to be really thick and easily creased, I’ve never had the issue with this eyeshadow, I find it really creamy and easy to apply. Sometimes I wear this on it’s own for that fresh faced look when you’re not really wanting to wear too much, I think it’s absolutely incredible and as sad as it sounds, I would be lost without it.

There’s inevitably been a lot of chatter about this product, slowly ending with a roar towards the end of 2015, I feel as though gradually more and more bloggers and make-up lovers are beginning to talk about this lipstick, I mean I don’t blame them, it’s amazing! I discovered this in around September time and It was love at first sight, I’m a massive fan of those burgundy red shades that just scream Autumn/Winter. I was on the hunt for one, as I love Mac’s Diva and have worn it countless of times, however I find it so drying – The formula of this lipstick isn’t drying at all, it’s a really weightless, creamy matte that quite literally looks divine!

2015 has really been the year that I’ve gotten into lipliner – Before this year, I only really wore it if I wore a bold lipstick, I honestly don’t know why I stuck to that rule, lip liner is a little miracle! Subline Culture goes perfectly with Charlotte Tilbury’s Bond Girl, I’ve been wearing this combination of lip products whoever I’ve worn a neutral lip throughout 2015. The MAC Lipliners and amazing value for money, they colour most probably last your a lifetime, and they have such a wide range of colours, you’d never have an issue matching it with a lipstick that isn’t from MAC!

Although I was attempting to keep this post strictly make-up products, it just wouldn’t have been right for me not to mention this absolute miracle worker! This is the second beauty blender that I’ve purchased this year, I love them so much! The majority of the time when I do my make-up, it’s before work or uni, and I don’t really have much time to sit there and strategically blend in my foundation for god knows how long, this is so simple – You can achieve flawlessly blended foundation and concealer in a few minutes. I was put off beauty blenders for so long as they’re pricey considering they’re just a sponge, however after trying so many dupes for them, when I tried the actual Beauty Blender’s I was blown away, they’re definitely worth the money folks!

With constantly wearing matte foundations, due to the fact I have combination to oily skin, however sometimes I feel as though my skin can look quite flat due to wearing a matte foundation and then using powder on the top to set it. I purchased this on a whim early 2015, as I wanted to have something that would add a bit of a glow to my face, rather than making it completely matte. I love the powder for evenings out as it adds a really light iridescence to your face that’s really quite flattering. This powder has lasted me so well throughout the year, it was only the other week when I had to purchase a new one, that’s why the one picture above looks completely untouched! This has made me really eager to try some more light reflecting setting powders in 2016!

This is another product that’s been sat within my make-up stash for some time now, I don’t think I actually know anyone that’s owned this product and not liked it. I’m not the type of person to go crazy with the highlighter as I’d much rather look like I had healthy, glowing skin, rather than looking like a walking, talking disco ball. Soft & Gentle is a really beautiful and natural champagne highlight, I simply apply this to the top of my cheeks and swish a bit onto my forehead and down my nose for a really natural and minimum effort natural glow – You cannot go wrong with this highlighter!

Once again, keeping in with the theme of me wanting to achieve dewy, natural looking glowing skin, I switched to this concealer during the beginning of 2015, simply because I wanted to brighten my skin. I used this under my eyes and it acts both as an under eye highlight, as well as a concealer, so it’s two for the price of one really. I’ve went through about 3 of these concealers as I quite literally can’t get enough of it! I love that they do a shade light enough in order for it to act as a highlight, It’s very difficult for me to find a concealer that’s actually paler than my skin tone.

I hope you all had an amazing 2015 – Please feel free to leave links to any of your 2015 favourites, as I love finding out what other products other people are into!

See you on Tuesday!

The Tarte foundation is one of my favorites to reach for, and I find that it does pair perfectly with the Beauty Blender! I picked up the CT Matte Revolution lipstick in Glastonberry last year, but I'm definitely looking to pick up Bond Girl this year!Cindy |

Where did you get your little marble tray/plate thing from? It's so nice! I recently got the Benefit Rockateur and I absolutely love it, it'll be making its way on to my favourites list in the future. I need to try the original beauty blender sponges but I like my Real Techniques one a lot as you have a clear edge for concealers and such instead of just the usual pointy egg one xMollie Victoria Beauty | Blog

These are some great picks; I have a few of these products and love them! I totally get what you mean about the transparent and veiny eyelids when you're pale, so I may give one of MAC's paint pots a go. Not sure if I'd go for this one or Groundwork though! Great favorites! Do you think the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation would be too drying for normal-combination skin? I have dry patches in between the brow area. #weirdHappy Wednesday Abigail xReal Life Nerd //

I love nearly everything in this post too, though I haven't tried the Tarte foundation yet. Never been able to get my hands on it yet and frightened to order from Sephora in case the colour is wrong! I still need to try CT products though, the lipsticks always look so pretty! Love your blog photos xTamz |

My friend has told me great things about the NARS concealer and I've only recently tried it. I bought the mini size at Sephora to try it out but after my first try, I was sooooooo in love with it. Can't believe it's taken me this long to go get one.
