Dungarees are something that are so easy to throw on no matter what you’re doing. I’ve never tried a pair of long dungarees before, I’ve always stuck to dungaree shorts or even pinafore dresses. Although I look like I’m a toddler that’s been pulled out of the 90’s by the hair, I think dungarees can be made to look effortless, but in a ‘I’m put together’ kind of way.
As dungarees can be quite androgynous, I decided to mix it up with both masculine and feminine accessories. I thought the tasseled monk shoes really played with the masculine quality to the outfit, usually I would opt for a pair of slip in loafers but I’m really loving these monk shoes recently, even though I bought them just under a year ago. To make it a little more feminine, I added a velvet backpack with gold hardware, I mean velvet even feels elegant, so why not? I also wore my camel Topshop slim-line coat – I absolutely love this coat, so much that I have it in grey also! The coat once again has that androgynous essence to it, I’ve 100% seen men wearing a coat really similar to this, however I find this coat really flattering, I pretty much wear it with anything and it just makes me look and feel so much more put together.
Hope you enjoyed this post! There will be plenty more fashion posts to come, as It’s definitely a topic in which my blog is lacking!
