ERDEM X H&M | MY TOP PICKS

Until now, I've not shown much interest in the H&M designer collaborations. Don't get me wrong, I think it's amazing that H&M are allowing amazing designers to become more accessible to people like us. However, the collections are still pricey, more than you'd aim to spend when browsing H&M. When they announced they were collaborating with Erdem, I was like 'okay, you've got my attention' as I've always loved the colours, patterns and the detail used within Erdem designs. I love how some of their pieces are really feminine and then some mix feminine patterns with masculine suits and styles.

The collection is online and in selected stores on Thursday 2nd November (this week, yay!) so I thought I'd pop together some of the items that have really caught my eye from the collection. Obviously, I won't be purchasing everything, however, these pieces I could really see myself wearing and loving.

TOP PICKS FROM THE COLLECTION
FLORAL DRESS: £79.99, BLAZER: £119.99, TROUSERS: £79.99

I'm loving the bright florals on the dark background. This feature runs through pretty much all of the collection. It's such a beautiful winter floral design, you still have the beautiful colours running through the pieces but you can still pair the items with dark colours to fit in with the theme of Autumn/Winter. The matching suit is incredible. I'd style it with a white t-shirt/band t-shirt and some converse for a modern Jane Birkin vibes. You could accessorise the suit with some many different colours, which although it's a statement you still have options, and of course, you can wear the seseparatelyly. You could pair the trousers with a blouse for a workwear look and even pair the blazer with some jeans and a baker boy hat for a statement day-to-day look.

BAG: £119.99, GREY BLAZER: £119.99

How stunning is this bag? It has a real vintage feel to it, which is something I love. It looks very classic, however, it's somehow modern with the embellishment detail. The shape is very 50's, it reminds me of something you'd see in Mad Men, however, I just love it! The grey blazer isn't something I'd usually go for in all honesty. The shade of grey is stunning though, I think it would look good with some black kick flare jeans and a slogan T-shirt, just to dress up an everyday outfit in case you're wanting to take it from desk to dinner.

LEOPARD PRINT COAT: £149.99, SEQUIN FLORAL DRESS: £149.99

Now that the party season is on the horizon, I've got the festivities on my mind and I'm beginning to gather some show-stopping items in preparation. As you're all aware by now, I bloody love me some leopard print. So, this faux fur coat has really caught my eye. Something about it is quite 90's, I feel as though this is something my mum would have dressed me in as a child, with one of those faux fur hats - If you know, you know. The bow detail makes the coat that little bit more dressy, however, paired with a leather skirt and some killer boots, you've got those refine rock and roll vibes pretty much effortlessly. As for this STUNNING floral sequin dress, it's left me speechless in all honesty. I'd personally pop a white t-shirt or even a mesh long sleeve top underneath, and pair it with some silver heels, or even some converse if you're wanting to give the dress a casual touch. I'm just in love, I'd happily die in that dress.

What are your favourite items from the collection?
