FLOURESCENT ADOLESCENT

I'm a lover of those 'I don't give a damn' outfits, where you can just sling on anything and be comfortable and casual, however I want to look super casual-chic and look somewhat stylish and as though I've made an effort and believe me this is definitely an odd combination to strive towards and yes, the struggle really is real! I've decided to share with you a super simple grunge inspired outfit, with a Scandinavian twist, the perfect combination of styles that are both effortless and relaxed with the grunge inspiration yet cool and minimal with those Scandi Vibes!

"YOU USED TO GET IT IN YOUR FISH NETS, NOW YOU ONLY GET IT IN YOUR NIGHT DRESS"
I love mixing trends and as you may have seen, fish net socks are slowly worming there way into every bloggers wardrobe, I personally love this little trend, it's a subtle detail that really spices up an outfit, I paired mine with these chunky loafers, which are the perfect mix of casual, yet put together - The chunky sole really adds to that grunge look! I then went for my black slim legged mom jeans, which are a firm staple in my wardrobe, especially when it comes to casual dressing! As you can tell, I don't iron my jeans because I'm lazy and this is a casual look, who has time to iron?

For the Scandinavian element to the outfit, I've went for this light grey flare sleeved jumper, the neckline and sleeve style on this jumper is something I always see as a massive trend within Scandinavian style, have you ever been on the COS website and not seen something like this though? I love it, it's such a stylish twist to your average jumper! I decided to do a bit of layering and layer a high neck top underneath just to add a little something something because why not?

The cheetah print coat is an item that's in pretty much every 'rock chic' or 'grunge girls' wardrobe, I love this coat, it just adds such a fun element to an outfit! I'm really into this 70's rock trend that's been all over the place recently, channeling those Almost Famous vibes forever!

  2. You look stunning, Abigail! Love this entire look, and how it can be viewed as sophisticated but edgy but everything --- fashionable 10/10. Your hair looks so soft and nice too (haha how creepy am I) U___U this is something I'd totally wear everyday if not for the work dress code, psh!
