12 DAYS OF BLOGMAS | THE WINTER BOOT EDIT

ON THE 8TH DAY OF BLOGMAS, BLUSH & NOISE GAVE TO ME, A CRAVING FOR WINTER BOOTS..

Winter boots are today's blogmas agenda! The amount of black boots I have i genuinely ridiculous, but I love and wear every pair to death (that rhymed) I think winter boots are more than an essential when it comes to this time of year, if you're not wearing boots or any sort of warm-ish rainproof boot at this time of year, then I worry about you - Well, unless you live in a warmer climate, then you wear those flip flops girl.

I have put together a little winter boot day-to-night edit for you! I think either of the boots I've chosen can be worn day or night, depending on the occasion and what you style them with of course! The two pairs that I've chosen, are most probably my two favourite pairs, and they didn't damage my bank account, which is especially helpful at this time of year when you're running low on 'Treat Yo Self' funds whilst you're christmas shopping - Parks and Recreation reference intended!

THE DAYTIME BOOT

TOPSHOP BARDOT HEELED ANKLE BOOTS - £45
I absolutely adore these boots! They're a really amazing soft quality for the small price tag! I've worn these with so many different outfits, I've worn them with jeans and jumpers, skirts and blouses and even dresses. The heel adds just the right amount go hight for the day time, which is crucial for me considering i'm just about 5ft. I feel like I'm an adult in these boots, not like I'm a child, even though I'm basically 20 looking like I'm 12, it's a hard life for us baby faced and baby sized folk.

The feature that I love the most about these boots is the pointed toe. I am a sucker for pointed toe boots, I think it's such a classic style, however paired with some high wasted jeans and a roll necked jumper, it gives a really stylish 60's vibe to any outfit, which is basically my go to style all year round if I'm honest!

These boots actually come in various colours and patterns, there's a burgundy pair and a grey snake skin pair, that I think would make a really subtle statement for the winter, without it being too over the top. It's not quite breaching the glittery boot trend which has been worming it's way into a select fews wardrobe, however it's just something a little different than your classic black boot!

The only real issues that I've had with these boots, is that when you first wear them, the soles are incredibly slippery, on the day I wore theses for the first time, I must have slipped over atlas 4 times in the space of 3 hours. Hilarious for everyone around me, but not so fun when you trying to seems as though you've got your shit together for the general public.

THE EVENING BOOT

PUBLIC DESIRE AIRES FAUX SNAKE SKIN HEELED BOOTS - £35

Yes,  I know, I couldn't believe the price of theses bad boys either! Literally as soon as I saw these boots on the public desire website, it was love at first sight, I knew if I didn't have these boots in my life, I would dream about them every night until they were within my possession, yes this is an issue, yes I have a shopping problem.

The Public Desire website harbours some of the most amazing shoes you will ever see, and they're all such amazing value for money! These boots are very similar to a pair that I had been lusting over from Topshop, however the Topshop version of these boots where over £80 which I just couldn't bring myself to splurge so much on a pair of boots at this time of year, when ideally I should be buying my friends and family gifts - Oops, it's the classic one for you, four for me syndrome.

To me, this boots are a statement boot. I'd wanted a patterned pair of boots for so long, however overtime I tried a pair on, I felt as though they just didn't suit me. So when I saw these I thought the snake skin body of the shoes was to die for, but accompanied by the almost tortoise shell patterned heel gave the shoe a really soft and elegant edge. I think these boots would look so nice during the evening with a pair of jet black skinny jeans and a flow blouse, or even with a mini skirt and tights if you're at a house party over this party season! Get your hands on these boots before I buy them all myself!
